BASES DEL CONCURSO SPELLING BEE

Se establece un tiempo de aproximadamente 30segundos para deletrear la palabra.Se dará una palabra distinta a cada persona quedeletrea.La persona que deletrea puede preguntar por unadefinición de la palabra en cuestión, pedir que éstase repita o que se ponga en el contexto de unafrase.El jurado tiene la última palabra.Las letras dobles pueden ser deletreadas juntas opor separado.El guion entre palabras deberá ser nombrado comoDASH.Se aceptará el inglés tanto británico comoamericano.La letra “R” tendrá que ser pronunciadaadecuadamente. Lo mismo con las letras “B” y “V”.Si los participantes son eliminados en la misma rondase empezará de nuevo.La persona que deletrea deberá repetir lapronunciación de dicha palabra antes y después desu deletreo, así como indicar si ésta contienemayúsculas, espacios y/o puntos.

You have around 30 seconds to spell the word.Every single speller will have a new word.You can ask for a definition, a repetition and asentence for each word, if necessary.The jury has the last say.Double letter can be spelt together or separately.The guión will be named DASH.British and American English will be accepted.The ‘R’ needs to be pronounced properly. The samewill happen with the ‘B’ vs ‘V’.If everybody is eliminated in the same round, we
will start again.Remember capital letters, space, dots, to
mention the word at the beginning and after spelling it.
